Healthy Habits for Healthy Ageing
Back to Basics
A series of six mini workshops designed to help you understand, adopt and maintain ongoing habits to support your body’s natural ability to selfheal and maintain the vital functions that we need to decrease onset of chronic disease and maintain a life of ease and wellbeing. This is for you if:
You are concerned about the increasing challenges to your physical and mental health and wellbeing as you age, be they large or small
You are confused by the continual stream of conflicting information about nutrition, lifestyle and health, what (not) to eat, when and why – and just so tired of reading about the latest superfood fads
You are concerned about the increasing pressures on the NHS and keen to do what you can to keep the needs of both you and your family for its services to a minimum.
You enjoy learning and developing new interests within a group of like-minded individuals and are happy to share health concerns, challenges and successes within a completely confidential setting.
We will be holding a short session to introduce the programme at 10.00 on Saturday 5th January. An Early bird rate of £120 will be available to attendees who subscribe on the day. To register your interest please contact Dani Druce on:

OTHER BODY FOCUSED CLASSES AVAILABLE AT CANTERBURY PILATES
Structural Integration Massage – why is it different?
This type of massage focusses on the fascia rather than
muscles. What is fascia I hear you say? Fascia is a body-wide multi-dimensional network that envelopes and connects every organ, every muscle, every bone, and even tiny nerves and other structures. It contributes hugely to our physiological health, body shape and our postural and movement patterns.
These massage look at postural patterns and movement habits and seek to gently unfold or undo any long-held imbalances.
